NIO in an accident... let me know if this level of safety is good enough for you?
By - kaisenls1
The point is to design the car to protect the occupants. Not look like it wasn’t hit. There’s nothing to glean from pictures. A “good” accident is only measured by how the occupants fared.
I measure the safety of how fucked the hood and front are. The more messed up the better. I mean that’s the part that’s supposed to absorb the collision (not your face).
This is just childish. Please do look at a few NCAP Tests on Youtube, educate yourself on crumble zones. Why is this sub full of kids?
I think the OP is saying it's good, just wasn't clear about it.
I thought these pics paint nio in good light. The other cars look much worse off
It looks like they're all doing what they supposed to. The front has way more room for crumple zones in a traditional car design. When the front of a Nio hit something, it crumpled. When the front of another car hits the back of a Nio, the front of the other car will do most of the crumpling. If the front of a Nio hit the back of another car, it would be the Nio doing more crumpling.
You misread his intentions.
OP is trying to show that Nio has excellent safety standards in that the car did pretty well to some major and minor accidents.
This is not evidence of doing well. The point of those bumpers is to reduce the impact force by sacrificing itself.
Yes sir it is really good
Nio is still better than most cars
It’s good enough for me.
Given some of these accidents are fairly severe and I don’t see a single broken windshield, I’m not only satisfied but impressed with the performance of the front crumple zone and passenger protection
that rear end is indestructable LOL
Is this the first time you see an accident?!!! or what are you trying to prove here?
Go ride your tricycle kiddo!
You really don’t understand the subtext here. They’re showing how well the car withstood the accidents in different situations. So chill out, drop the straw and the cocaine, and get some rest.
The title doesn’t express that sentiment. For a post, the title should be the most expressive part not only enough to be understood but also to avoid misunderstanding.
The kid who posted this has to learn these fundamentals.
Yeah, you’re right. Reading the titles of books basically gives away the whole story.
Nio car’s back is stronger than front?
Typically when hitting from behind, the one behind will hit the breaks and lower the cars front, therefore it will be hitting with the radiator (or whatever’s it’s in the front) vs a chassis, the strongest part of a car.
If look for this kind of accidents, direct hits from the back, the one hitting will be in very poor shape and one one being hit doesn’t have much damage.
This happens with all cars 🤷♂️
Thanks for the info 🙇🙏
The back of NIO light looks like SEAT. NGL
Looks like a solid whip tho
Why post multiple pictures that are the same? Trying to make it seem more prevelant than it is?
Cars crash, what's your point? I didn't realise no other cars get into crashes, thank you for educating us that only NIO cars crash. It's nice to know that Tesla cars have never crashed either, excellent work and research mate, top stuff 👍
Something something crumple zone - 12th grade physics
Crumlbe zone - google it. Man how old are you?
Google crash safety and crumple zones. Looking pristine is either a nothing burger or a fail.
Is your point that drivers are human or is your point that you think there are magical cars that don’t get in accidents ever because they are powered by magic? Because either of these are pretty dumb points one way or another.
So who wins? A mountain or a NIO vehicle?
If u r here to troll, I can block u… or u block me.
It was a joke. Look at your title. What other types of responses do you expect when you create a title and a post in this manner? You have provided no other information besides the strong back side of a NIO being what appears to be hit by a soft unknown sedan. If you want a more serious response, structre your posts that encourage more serious responses.
Also, reading over your other comments such as "That NIO is army strong". I was under the impression given the little content in this post it wasnt supposed to be a serious post taken beyond face value. Great work, but you should question your own self. Have a wonderful day. Sort of contradicting yourself partner.
