Naples and the Vatican are two completely different places. Vatican is a separate country located in the region of Lazio. Naples is in the region of Campania. The Vatican is the home of the Pope (Francis currently). Naples is just some randomly famous italian city.

I think that it can be assumed that a good number of Part 7 characters are religious. Johnny is, as far as I remember, the only character to directly call the Saint Jesus Christ. Gyro, Wekapipo, and Hot Pants are all Catholic. Valentine and most of his agents like Blackmore and Axl RO are some type of christian too.

It’s never really mentioned but I would guess that the gang from Part 5 grew up Catholic (until their tragic backstory happens)

Especially Mista (the tragic part of his life is %90 part 5 and %10 prison sentence he didn't even get in the first place).

Others could be inferred from the setting or time period, such as Caesar. There's probably some religious characters in the manga but I wouldn't know
