I started using some off brand thing I found on amazon. I’ll link it, but for me I have a smaller chest. Therefore I would have no experience or know anyone that used it with a larger chest. But I personally think its amazing and super comfortable when I cant bind due to my back issues. It’s annoying to put on so I bind when I can and use that when I wanna wear a tanktop or partially open button up/having back issues. Also tested this specific tape in a pool, stayed in tact and didn’t cause rashes or pain when taking off using just water while showering. [tape purchased](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GV99D2G?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) (got the 4 inch one)

Does it come off easily w water? I work as a dog bather so I get pretty soaked at work. Just wanna know if I shouldn’t use it at work but for other days

From what I know, no it doesnt. If you put it on right you should be fine. It just came off super easy when I purposely peeled it off during my shower and didn’t cause pain like others do. I went swimming for around 30-45 minutes, fully submerged doing flips into the pool, and not a single sign of it coming off. It also is marketed water proof. If you’re skeptical id suggest just bringing a binder with you to work just in case and trying it anyways. I’ve tried multiple tapes and was VERY pleased with this one. Tried actual transtape and kt tape both failed to me. Transtape is a little more sturdy/thick didnt work for my sensitive skin caused irritation. KT tape wasn’t exactly good enough water proof and caused even more irritation. The one I am using rn and have linked is lightweight and stayed on with the water and came off simple. Id try it out, if it doesnt work for being wet for as long as you need id just wear it other times cause for an off brand random amazon find its a hella good tape imo.

Alright tysm for the link I’ll save up for it

itscalebbros

yes but not really, you can get target brand KT tape for like $5 and it works just as well. definitely takes some trial and error but i have a larger chest (im highly dysphoric abt) and was able to completely replace my binders. i can go up to a week(showers included) before i need to change my tape. lmk if you need any tips or have questions

youtalkwaaaytoomuch

i’m curious about tips u have as someone also with a large chest :0

itscalebbros

number one game changer is to lay down while applying, gravity is your friend. i cut each strip in half and place it abt 2 inches from the center of my chest, then stretch across. its best to position your chest up and outwards. remember most cis men dont have a completely flat chest, you're molding it into a more masculine shape bc flat isn't realistic. don't scratch unless you want blisters. if you want a visual checkout @cluelesstransmascclub on ig, he's a big advocate for TT

thank you!:) hopefully i can get some this weekend then. i tried some from walmart that was $8 and worked fine, but good to know that there is an even cheaper alternative (and i can also get muppet legos at target)

my last two videos on tiktok are about transtape @condemned.titan, or if you prefer you can DM me! i am only one opinion, but i think they’re worth it!

Nefariouscryptid

I don’t have a Tik tok so I’ll dm, thanks!

folieevan

i would personally not say it’s worth it unless you have a pretty small chest, it’s not friendly for most folks with bigger chests. however, it’s not worthless to give it a shot if you can afford it!

Swimming_Survey1579

personally i dont know if id ever use it seems too complicated to put on
