I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. I get horrible anxiety like this too for days after drinking. I am trying sobriety but i messed up 4 days days ago. I have only been able to sleep after 3 days. My heart beat was so out of whack and i couldn't fall asleep. A few hours of fun for three days of feeling like utter crap is not worth it. Alcohol just hits some people differently you might be one of them. But there is good news! It does get better and this too shall pass.
Try to distract yourself. Watch a movie, eat some good food (even of you don't feel like it). The best kind of food is protein heavy with carbs. The internet will tell you to eat fruit too. Get b vitamins (in my country we have a b vitamin mix specifically for alcohol, it also supports your liver) magnesium and vitamin c are all good. You can try valerian root it's available otc. Get some exercise even if it's just going for a walk. It does help to calm you down overall. Get outside for some fresh air. If you can, spend time with people who make you feel good. Tell them whats going on, it can help to say it out loud get out of your head a little bit.
It will get better. Just try to hold on minute by minute. Check your breathing. If it's really debilitating go to the ER they will give you some benzos and send you on your way. I guess it depends on your country, it might not be an option if not you can try the above vitamins.
Thanks so much!! This crappy feeling is finally starting to subside. I'm really hoping I'll be feeling better by tomorrow. I really gotta quit getting fucked so fucked up my body can't take it anymore. I hope you're able to stay sober also or able to drink in moderation!!
Im in the er right now Cause my anxiety was so bad, I legit was having full blown panic attacks so they kept loading me up with valium every 2 hours, EVEN THE VALIUM WOULD WEAR OFF AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR, that's how much nervous energy and adrenaline I've got pumping through me right now, I'm reading about hanxiety to try make myself feel better

I feel like this almost every time I get severely hungover, the best remedy I have tried (for the anxiety itself) is a good healthy smoothie. Alcohol depletes your brain of a lot of necessary vitamins. I try to make a smoothie consisting of a banana and other fruits, veggies, some supplement powders, and coconut water. This will not only help with your anxiety but also your hangover in general. It will boost your energy, curve your nausea, and relieve you of fatigue. I'm not an expert in nutrition or dietetics, but I am a student at an SEC school and we tend to go a little overboard on a weekly basis. The difference between a hungover day without a smoothie versus with a smoothie is shocking. The next best thing is going outside, whether that be laying out in the sun for a bit or going for a walk, the fresh air and the sunlight will make you feel better. Also, I have found that while it may seem daunting to your anxious self at the time, being around a few people will make you feel better as long as you're not in a stressful environment. My favorite hangover places are parks and the zoo.
If you find that the smoothies work, you can start to play with them a bit and add anti-inflammatory ingredients, gut-healthy ingredients as well as anything else you'd like. Mentally and physically smoothies have changed my life, I'm not the same person without them, especially when I'm hungover
