THANK YOU!!!!!! No legs! And we get the ab dolly! I can’t take any more lunging and squatting - will be there bright and early for the 2G! (If you can’t tell.. my legs hurt)
Also an ab dolly loving weirdo! Hi! 👋🏻
Happy to see some upper body, my legs and bootay are torched. Thank you so much for posting!
Sounds like a nightmare. I’m sleeping in. Do your kegals, pee before class, and strap the twins in.
Search ‘workout 13/6/21’ aka the last crew row - looks like the 2G will be almost the same as it was in June based on what this 3g workout is!!!
Wait, early intel is back??? YES!!!! 🧡
Awesome thanks!🍊 Hello Dolly!
Awesome 🧡 Thanks so much for posting! Love the ab dolly.
My first day back at OTF tomorrow after 2 years.. dreading the ab dolly
Thank you! I am both excited to restart this journey and dreading I will collapse in the middle of the exercises
Doing a 90 minute tomorrow. I’m scared!!
Must say, I love 90 minute classes! 🤪
I love them too! I’m just scared of a 90 min endurance 😬 endurance days are my least favorite
Me too! I haven’t done a 90 in years. They were gone at my studio before covid and now they’re back.
Shall we try it?!? I will if you will! 🍊🧡
Anyone else done with rowing? Desperately missing a class with just treads and weights
Yes. I’m all rowed out
Thinking of doing the 90 min class. Thank you for the early intel!!
Ugh. I had a hairy work day Friday so I took Saturday off, so I need to go to this one. I’m not a fan of crew row.
Oh no! Why are you not a fan? (Sorry about your Friday. 😕)
Tomm is my cake day! Can't wait!
What is a crew row?
Fun!!! 🧡🍊😉 Truly. Try it! All rowers in sync with one another. Your coach will guide you.
Your handle is my grandmas name 😂😂 honest to god.
This is the BEST thing I’ve heard all day!!!!! 🧡🧡🧡
The coach will pick a captain of the rowers. The other rowers match the captain’s stroke rate. Usually there are 2-3 captains for the rowing block.
I love/hate crew rows. Sometimes I don’t have the discipline to stay with the crew!
On top of what others said, the quality of the crew row depends on the leader. The rest of the group is to be in sync with the leader with a stroke rate of something like 24-26. If the leader goes for a stroke rate of 31, everyone is going to struggle. It depends on the coach if they will push for the group to be in sync.
I've done two so far. I didn't hate them. Some people hate them. If your leader sucks, hopefully your coach will encourage breaks or ignore deviations
Inevitably the leader is someone trying to impress us with their 31 stroke rate…which does just the opposite for me.
Keeping pace with a leader.
I hope both the 2G and 3G are ran the same tomorrow. Love solid blocks like this!
They will be different. This does look like the last 3g crew row template though so I'd expect 2g to be the same as last time too.
Check the one from last year in the October Monthly Highlights post, they are not the same. The 2G crew row was only 8 minutes of the second block, first block was around 14 minutes. Tread block was 2 blocks. Thank goodness because I’m taking a 2G (I took the 2G the last time and 8 straight minutes rowing was more than enough for me).
thank you for posting!!! this looks awesome
Ab dolly!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
I have a 90 minute of this and it looks amazing! Thank you
I love the ab dolly EXCEPT for the hamstring curl. I find it so difficult and uncomfortable. I like knee tucks and pikes and roll outs though. They are hard but give me a good workout!
My hamstrings cramp up as soon as I do a hamstring curl on the ab dolly. 🤦🏼♀️
Is it weird to be excited for a crew row for your birthday workout? Cause I’m kind of looking forward to this!
Anddddd I cancelled lmao I can’t do 14 minutes on a rower after today’s leg day and Friday’s 3x3
