What EV stock is the best bet? NIO or ARVL
By - alyjo07
JFC it’s $TSLA obviously
arrival, inverse all these mofos, avoid crowded trades...
Are fractional shares not available to you?
Possibly NIO. The Chinese government is backing them.
Buy fractional shares of Tesla. It’s a solid clean energy play mixed with data as well.
I’m in on $RIDE for upcoming catalysts. $NIO is a solid long term play
NIO, hands down.
Try thinking about Ford.
Ford has massive debt and way too many obligations to unions and pensions. Dying company.
too big to fail
Wrong they have 24 billion in debt 120 billion is revolving credit debt like a bank
Ford has got Biden blessing
This. My 2022 calls are looking juicy already
Look at a lithium ETF like LIT or a company like Piedmont. If you can’t buy the car is, buy the batteries. From what I have read lithium is the only battery technology for the for seeable future. Other things being worked on, but lithium is mass production.
The fact that scrolling down brings 5+ answers that could all be right is why I’m with you in LIT
NIO or BYD，they have local government to support and large market
I’ve never considered EV a good bet. Tesla baffled me and I lost opportunity as a result. But at least not holding bags. It seem to take the media two decades to notice the mining for and disposal of batteries was not good for the environment. Nor are the materials unlimited. That was heretical to say just years ago. Now that they fell out of love with Musk, it seems like this is freely admitted. I failed to see how slow and stupid the media is, thus how uninformed the public is, and it’s cost me money. It won’t happen again. I’m currently grinding up used cotton masks and mixing it with snake oil to sell as a sustainable cure for cooties.
Tesla bear was just on cnbc. Basically gave nio li and xpev a little accidental shoutout, stating decreased volumes for tesla in china as well as increased volumes for domestic auto makers like nio. Also stated state run media has been running a smear on tesla. Good for NIO.
Yup im in also
Came here to say this.
$cciv. Perfect time to accumulate.
GM or F
Good upside and little risk to drop
Can't believe no one has said $RIDE yet.
They just announced The pope is getting a custom FSR ocean SUV next year. If the religious masses get behind that it’ll be big. I have calls for June but will probably roll if it trades sideways all week
XL Fleet or ZEV (Lightning eMotors) both beat down and primed to explode
Buy fisker sell for cyber truck![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)
I’ve got 2000 shares of RIDE for Monday.
Scrolled too much for this. People fail to understand Tesla is more AV than EV
LEV - they been in the commercial EV space for years in Canada and they just announced a manufacturing facility in Illinois. They have contracts with Amazon, and are in the process of landing school bus contracts throughout the country.
VWAGY and Porsche will print by the end of the year
Porsche is a long play, as well as VW. They will be rolling out a long line of EV’s in 2023. These companies do well already, my guess is that they’ll be one of the top competitors for Tesla in a few years.
Their shares are relatively cheap right now, so it’s easy to get in at the moment
What about chinas BYD? I would say that is the better option than Porsche
PCAR for the ev commercial truck
GOEV / TSLA / NIO
No interest in RMO? I’m relatively new at this but got in at 9.60 on news of Paccar deal. Stocked soared to 14.00 and then settled over weeks to low 7’s. After researching bought heavily on dips and now at 7.34 and moderate gains (finally) all week. Feel like good news on battery cell supply will return the volume and bust through the institutional shorts.. any thoughts out there?
Look at Volkswagen- in Europe, they are taking market share from Tesla.
The best EV stocks are the fairly valued legacy carmakers such as Ford or General Motors making the transition
BYD is the best by far. They've got big things in the works and just about every major manufacturer has been beating on their door.
NIO and Tesla. Everything else is second class.
