Burnt out, seeking advice to change careers from consulting to trades.

I guess I didn't have enough downward pressure on my nail gun and the brad nail is *just* sticking out of the wood (where all the rest sunk in like the setting on the gun was set to). Any thoughts on how to get it out or press it down without hurting the wood?
