I live in a college town too. I strategically plan my errands on game days and take full advantage of everyone watching/being at the game. For the most part, after first quarter, it’s a ghost town so I don’t have to worry about huge crowds or traffic!

If it helps, I used to work at Athens airport and Atlanta Center(over arching airspace controllers prior to entering Athens air space) put a ground stop on Athens Air traffic controllers because there were so many planes trying to get into Athens to see the game and Atlanta Center couldn't handle it lol Athens controllers were like, "what?!? We do this every fall!" 😂😂😂
I lived downtown and never liked sports, love anime, and guess what? There is 0 reason to disparage others of their source of joy in life.
Enjoy your cozy night in, because it sure isn’t cozy in your head if this is how you think.
Yea, I don't understand that either. Also, I didn't. I was just commenting on how this town ppl get hyped about it and it's funny being the person that has an ok o_o response. I'm not putting anyone down for liking it.
We just played and won the biggest game ever at Sanford stadium. So it's going to be super quiet and chill downtown, obvi.
The biggest game ever at Sanford stadium?
Could be accurate.
Yes. Those tickets were the most expensive for a college football regular season game ever.

A few fights, a few arrests, just an average highlight of a huge win against Tennessee.
I'll be surprised if we don't lose a building or two before tomorrow.
Is the sky blue?
“…the football” lol my guy
Is downtown bigger for this or when we won the National championship?
The difference is everyone is HERE.
I would bet money on one hell of a party. Lots of puking later. Some chick already pissed in the dressing room at Cillies.
Yes and rightfully so.
So I'm about 250 miles away and can say... what a dumbass question. Go dawgs!!!
I wonder if any police cars got flipped over!
Bruh
100% Chance!
It's fun living here and giving 0 fooks about sports. Get to respond to people's exclamations about sports like Saitama.

Well said. I’ve never understood the “I can’t enjoy my own passions/interests without disparaging yours.”

OPs post isn't about loving sports, and I don't care if people like sports or not. Where is this disparaging you speak of? °-°
That was one of the cringiest things I’ve ever read
Ok.
LMFAOOO
🤦♂️
I can’t tell if this post is a troll bc of how many other genuine-seeming posts like this I’ve seen the past few days on here but well done
I heard there was only one shootout in downtown so there's that!
