Also, at the Botanical Gardens, if you park in the lot that’s close to the river you can follow that trail. Go to the right. There’s a sandy beach right on the river. One of my favorite spots.
I would say either the Greenway behind Mama's boy on e broad or Ben Burton Park. I've had picnics at both and enjoyed both locations
I proposed to my wife with a picnic at Ben Burton park. Can confirm, lovely spot
Sandy Creek Park
Founders Garden is legit.
Historic campus (where the arches are) is nice if you want kinda a picnic in the city feel. But for quiet places I agree with Ben Burton and Botanical Gardens. Also check out memorial park!
I need to make a "There's only one arch" bot.
Lol 😂 You got me on that one!
Memorial park, North Campus lawn, or Oconee Forest Park
dudley park is convenient and spacious enough
we picnic and see others picnic here all the time. relatively quiet with decent people watching and nice open space
The health sciences campus has some nice green spaces and you could walk to get a coffee or drink afterwards.
Botanical Gardens - The flat, terraced lawns of the “flower garden” area, in the SE corner of the place. Finest grass in the entire state. Nice benches or bring a blanket.
a person im interested in :)
hope it works out!
By ecology on campus has a turtle pond that is a hidden gem
