I've been playing MnK for 15 years. My aim is pretty solid. Just gets frustrating watching the kill cam and watching them spam ads until it snaps on your head.
People spam ads to be ready for gun fights... the aim assist doesn't snap on anyone lol.. idk why mnk players think aim assist is that strong when it really isn't.

"Snapping on" is maybe a poor way to put it, but aim assist is very strong in this game. Certainly stronger than 99.8% of MnK players.
A similar thing is happening in the Apex scene. Aim assist is pretty unbeatable in those close range fast strafe tracking fights, which is most of Apex and CoD engagements. Especially those quick 180s it does for you in those clips on Rebirth in the video. Probably one of the hardest tracks to do on mnk and controller players get it for free.
MW19 and MW22 both use rotational aim assist, so it's still relevant. Thanks for the reductionist takes though. Keep your head in the sand with those thumbs tight on those sticks lil bro.
I've used both, primarily controller and switching between the 2 isn't nearly as hard as people make it out to be. Aim assist really isnt a huge advantage to the amount of movement you gain on using mouse and key.
You can't expect to go into a game like CoD using the a different input and expect your play style to transfer to it. I had to change how I played and never had an issue.
it’s seriously not like that. I switched to PC recently and can shoot beams on val or jump on cod with controller and do the same. Controller doesn’t make someone good AT ALL, bc a ton of people suck lol. Either you’re naturally good at video games or you’re not. I bet I can get a kill using an F1 steering wheel against a trash player on controller
right, but that doesn’t make a player better bc they’re on controller. You can’t aim accurately on a controller without aim assist bc you can’t make tiny micro adjustments on an analog stick. Impossible.
If I played as myself on keys vs myself on controller with no aim assist, I’d win 100-0 because I have a whole ass mousepad 2x the size of your average laptop, vs trying to make this tiny movement with a tension stick that snaps all around and constantly wants to return to its center
I just hear a lot of bs from people saying “mannn I lost that fight bc he’s on controller mannn, he doesn’t even have to aim :(“ when in reality you just missed shots or something. Guaranteed a mnk player who’s never played on controller would switch over to this “massive aim assist controller auto aimer” and shoot absolute circles for months lol. I play both, and I prefer mnk bc it’s easier to aim where on controller sometimes I can’t hit a shot bc the stick can’t be accurate and slides past a tiny spot I want to aim.
> Guaranteed a mnk player who’s never played on controller would switch over to this “massive aim assist controller auto aimer” and shoot absolute circles for months
I can confirm this from experience. Switched to controller after playing all my FPS games on keyboard and mouse my whole life and I couldn't aim for shit even after months of playing with it :P
I didn't switch for the aim assist though, I just wanted to play on console since pc cod was ass until MW2019 (ignoring cod1-2 and 4 since those games were mainly pc)
It's not about making someone a good players, it's moreso that the floor of a controller player is way higher than the floor of a mnk player. It's much easier to reach a strong level on controller whereas a similar level on mnk could take dozens of hours of aim training and movement practice.
Because there is no nuance in this sub. Mnk players aren't saying if you pick up a controller you're a God gamer who never wiffs shots, they're just saying the inputs are inherently unfair and don't line up well against each other.
Sure, something like that is great when you're sniping.
Where mnk falls apart is close range fast strafe tracking fights, which is almost every engagement in games where people complain about aim assist (Apex and CoD). Especially with the amount of visual clutter and particle effects in this game, tracking on Mnk is very difficult in comparison.
for the average players yeah. s1mple is better up close in a fast tracking situation with mnk than your average cod player in an SND wager. It’s all just about how good you are imo. Aim assist isn’t aim bot, the CDL’s accuracy across the board is still like 19% or something.
He did not go off sadly...
Im a pure bot on mnk cant pop off even if i wanted
It's sad that aim assist is so strong it's considered trolling to use mouse and key.
Nah, it's only considered trolling when they have no mnk experience.

Lol nice made up statistics and a video from mw19! Thanks for sharing!!

i reached iri using mnk lil bro. try not to od on copium

That’s not how it works lol
Man saw a clip from the cod4 campaign tutorial years ago and it's lived rent free in his head ever since

You can tell in the kill cam who is playing controller and who isn't. It's pretty obvious what aim assist looks like by now.

I understand. I didn't think I had to explain that I think it's over tuned.

this is the correct take. Agree with this completely. This is different than saying it makes someone good or something. Lotta people think that

i play both and I think it’s actually easier to be better on mnk bc you can be more accurate and more precise. Just takes time

Tbh any bit of AA will be “too strong” for shooters styled like CoD or Halo
Nope. I just shit on the aim assist losers.
