Hey there, this post has been removed; Rule 2, the post doesn’t meet our Image & Video standards.
Image or video posts need to be accompanied by a top-level post from OP providing meaningful informative content and context, please. This community wants to be a relatively serious, topic-focused, and informative community; ‘soft’ media posts bypass that, this rule is intended to place higher effort burden on them without banning them outright.

Well, coffee is an expensive hobby so you’ve got to be resourceful! I am more of a filtered coffee/pour-over person but the gear is still expensive for me because it is sold for first-world prices in my second-world country. So, I have to reserve some money bit by bit and buy stuff gradually. I’ve already bought a Timemore Crystal Eye dripper (which is almost identical to the V60 anyway) and a Timemore C2 grinder and have yet to buy a gooseneck kettle and a coffee scale. Until that, I’ll have to stick to using an old enameled teapot and some basic kitchen scales with just 1-gram accuracy. Also, instead of a dedicated V60 carafe, I use my French press’ beaker.

If it’s stupid and it works, it’s not stupid.
Just don’t ask the gearheads over at r/espresso
This is what I love about poor & passionate hobbyists; they're very creative
Username checks out.
Aeropress has a tamper?
I think he is just talking about a crappy plastic tamper
I think they are talking about either the aeropress plunger or the plastic filter basket thing.
If you get the kit bag it comes with a shitty, flimsy plastic scoop that doubles as a “tamper”.
Oh yeah. I probably have a few of them in a drawer somewhere....
I have this grinder too. Damn i love it
I do the exact same thing with the same same grinder (I have a Chestnut C2). I thought [I was the only one](https://i.imgur.com/QcV5niR.jpg)!

Maximum efficiency
Now they’re gonna upcharge it as a feature: 2in1 Coffee Grinder with Tamping function!!!
I also do this! But for aeropress fauxspro.
Nice now you can grind while you tamp. Ready for the next one. Chain em together champ!
