The amount of people let out on bond after murdering in cold blood and not just in the heat of the moment is astounding. I forget the names and actual bond amount, but in my area a man who stabbed an elderly couple to death after breaking into their home got a ridiculously low bond. It's even worse when you consider you don't have to pay the whole bond with a bond agency, just a fraction.
The bond was set at $2 mil so they had to shell out $200k to get her out. Either she has hella money or someone would have to put up a second mortgage just to get this piece of trash out of jail. I'm guessing they'll just let her sit and rot there.
SHE WAS OUT ON BOND FOR A PRIOR CRIME SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE THE MURDER - **NOT** LET OUT AFTER THE MURDER.
Edit- She has definitely been sitting in jail for the past year. Her lawyer complained last summer that it was difficult to speak with her because she was on suicide watch for a few weeks after her brother died, and she wasnāt allowed any visitors.

These kind of people belong in prison, not as a punishment necessarily but to keep them away from everyone else. While they're being kept there, study them, see what treatments work, bring in specialists, let graduate students do research - turn them into research specimens whose basic human dignity is allowed (food, shelter, reasonable medical care) but nothing more. That is a much better use of a human life. If someone has murdered someone, particularly like this, they forfeit their place in society, they forfeit their liberty and they forfeit input on what society decides to do with them.
