**Intervention Ship**: Medium Sector Security vessel **Function**: Sector Security designed this ship to maximize speed and offense. This focus is what makes them great intervention ships for cases where they need to bring down the law through excessive firepower. With a homogenous aerodynamic design and reduced target profile, it is a ship used both in atmospheric environments as well as deep space. It uses hydrazine in two symmetrically placed engines, managing to reduce its overall weight through highly efficient fuel deposits. Its heat management comes with an exchanger allowing the Intervention ship to partially recuperate energy and dissipate heat. The faction's emblematic flood lights are built into the sides of the ship. **Offense**: It has a total of 4 main cannon hardpoints and 6 PDCs along with a built-in missile launcher. To offset all of the heat generated by this offensive capability, it has retractable radiator panels that it can deploy in a prolonged fight. (This does increase its target profile, however) Through its highly functional design it is a very maneuverable ship. When combined with the speed of the supporting patrol ships, it becomes a statement on the Territory Security's power throughout the region. I absolutely love this ship and how much thought you have put into designing it and making it accurate from a scientific standpoint. The only thing I might change is that if you changed your methods of maneuvering and getting rid of heat to one that heats up water and uses that to maneuver you could remove the radiator panels at the cost of maybe installing a larger water tank.

Cheers man, glad you like the ship, something weird happened with the post visibility initially that kind of meant the post got mainly ignored , so getting some feedback on this is excellent! The water tank is actually a great idea, and i can see how this can work in terms of the game's mechanics, it would totally change the way you interact with the heat mechanic. Instead of radiating away heat at a specific rate each turn, you would have some limited cards in your deck that automatically get rid of a larger value of heat at once (simulating you dumping heated water, which you have a limited amount of). A water tank would also raise your heat threshold since it acts as a heatsink, until you decide to dump all that water. you just made my day, heh

Actually if I remember correctly I got the idea from the expanse although I do not remember if it was from the books or the tv show but regardless both of them have a huge amount of things that are just hidden a little below the surface and if you really pay attention it is basically a book full of tips about how you could make your ships a little more scientifically accurate with a story that I found very interesting and something I could read/watch all day Also yesterday I looked through your posts and saw your game and many little components that I can’t wait to try in a few hours

Cheers man, i was hoping to get the time to read the books, i really liked the show, but kids, work, and an indie game on the side is pretty demanding. Feel free to try out the demo, it's quite old at this point, the game has advanced a lot since then, especially in the metagame portion, but it should still give you a glimpse of what the game will become. New demo should be out in a month or so

Cool! I can’t wait for it and I hope you like the books as much as the tv show

I am playing through your demo right now and It looks good so far and while I am not saying that your ships are unrealistic like you had been aiming for (I think) there are a few few things I could nitpick at if you ever have the time.
