I guess I like Humanity, in general, I suppose.
In mass, not so much. Design engineers, contractors, and materials, like steel, all have their limits. There is no limit to stupidity, and assumptions, when a mass of people crowd together, I imagine?
I mean, that bridge probably didn’t open yesterday - is it just maybe possible that the locals have extensive experience indicating that this is safe, despite the assumptions of outsiders seeing it for the first time?
They don't care whether it's safe or not, the thought doesn't cross a majority of their minds. If you've seen the videos of people hanging off the sides of the train carriages because inside is packed full, you'll get what I mean.
"Extensive experience indicating this is safe" is a fancy way of saying they've gone on it and it hasn't broken yet, therefore its safe 🤷♂️
Like the one over the waterfall in Brazil, one day we’ll read about it collapsing and there will be 1000 people crying saying “I can’t even believe this happened”
Upvoted. It is never okay to put yourself in this situation. What happen if someone has a panic attCk? There is so manythjng that could go wrong here. Seem like a disaster waiting to happeb
The better question is what happens if they don't cross the bridge? Why are there not more bridges? No need to pass judgement on people based on the infrastructure available to them without even knowing what's at stake. Sure, it's a shitty situation. But that doesn't mean there's a highway crossing half a mile down the road they are ignoring
If you gotta get to the other side, or you gotta make that trip on the train and there are no other ways for either, then you just don't do the thing? It's safe enough for enough people and the risk is worth it.
This isn't human stupidity at play. I bet they all know that one day this bridge will fail. And hope they are not on it when that happens.
Until someone builds another bridge though, they gotta get to the other side...
Be happy you got better bridges for the places you have to get to.
Like the one over the waterfall in Brazil, one day we’ll read about it collapsing and there will be 1000 people crying saying “I can’t even believe this happened”
I'm sure people have plenty of experience with it not breaking. That's not the same as being safe. All materials and structures have tolerances. This bridge may be able to hold this load in the moment, but it is invariably wearing on the the structure and it will eventually fail, and likely catastrophically, with this sort of use.
Just asking but what is it about India that makes people so averse to understanding the risks of crowding you see it on trains, bridges etc it's kind of scary.
First of all this isn't India. And even if it was, it would be a racist assumption because India doesn't equal dirty/filthy/unclean etc. Yes there are polluted/dirty parts in the country just like any other country. So singling out and stereotyping India on this basis is racist as it would be akin to say, singling out & stereotyping black people as criminals or murderers
The ganges river is dirty/filthy/unclean. I never called anyone that. Closed Bodies of water around the world that are often visited tend to have extremely filthy water. Venices water is filthy. Is that racist?
Lemmings didn't actually do that mass suicide thing on their own. Walt Disney bought a shit ton of them and forced them to do that. Look it up, it's really sad.
It's like they've not got any concept of staying to the left/right. I can see people fighting to get through the people walking out on to the bridge which is slowing everything down.
No it's in Nepal. You can literally hear the person behind the camera saying isn't the people gets scared or smh in Nepali language. P.S in from that near by area and I have been there once. It's Hella packed all the time
>You can literally hear the person behind the camera saying isn't the people gets scared or smh in Nepali language.
You're actually assuming people here who think Indians speak Indian, are actually gonna be able to tell India and Nepal apart from the language? LMAO.
Like I said before, calling out such ignorance will get me downvoted.

Lmao yes we are. I have been there once and believe me there's another route to the mountain but people tend to use that suspension bridge. Dunno what's the obsession people have with that bridge.

It’s a no from me dawg.

Crowd control. That is a must.
Yes sir their Mentality is well if the guy in front of me made it then surely I can and so on.

If you Google the quote it tells you who it is lmao
Give him a break, its probably his first time googling and hit the 'im feeling lucky' button
I love on this side now. Forever. Never gonna cross that
Whatever’s on the other side, it ain’t worth it.
Escape from the temple of Doom is always worth it.
Kali MA, Kali Ma!!
Ah nice to know that people still think of India as shown in Indiana Jones.
and America as depicted in Deliverance.
Deliverance is accurate.
Oh no, I think theres a lot more polution and garbage everywhere than in the movie.
Lol, a lot of people ain't gonna get it.
I can't be friends with those people.
Dude that didn't work out for those mooks with scimitars
Hold on lady, we going for a ride.
Indy! Cover your heart
You know me docta jones!
NO TIME FOR LOVE DOCTOR JONES!!
It’s good to see the bridge rebuilt.
Just asking but what is it about India that makes people so averse to understanding the risks of crowding you see it on trains, bridges etc it's kind of scary.
Limited resources, but I'm talking about transportation in general in India. The bridge though is pure stupidity.
I doubt it’s something that really matters to consider. There’s tons of people and that’s just kinda how it is.
Tons of people... literally.
Reincarnation… means no worries.
For the rest of your daaaaaaays
Exactly!
Aah! Sing it, kid!
There are plenty of non-hindus though.
Ugh… always one
Video isn't from india
Where is it?
From the language spoken, sounds like Nepal.
Yes its here in Nepal. This is from the public opening of the suspension bridge ig.
Yeah, that's not India.
Looks like it’s in India. Should be a temple on the other side.
Nope

Oscar-winner.

For sure thought I was about to watch people die.
I was thinking it was gonna Indiana Jones
India jones
Lol
Just why, why?
That's what I was asking why
The quest to see God mostly
Oh that’s it? Then I’ve got some pretty great speed run tips.
On the other side there is a holy river, that in reality is just filled with chemicals and feces, but hey what do they know
Stfu racist bigot
Throwing around those terms for no reason has taken away an astronomical amount of meaning behind them.
It was a racist assumption tho. Seems like a certain category of people don't like to get called out
Don't think it was an assumption though?
According to the other comments this is somewhere in Nepal, not India, so yeah, probably a racist assumption
He’s claiming the water is full of feces and chemicals. Being India and reading about the Ganges, he may be correct. But thats not racist.
First of all this isn't India. That's rampant anti-italianism you disgusting fredophobe.
gotta protect all the reddit karma somehow right?
lol youre a bigot for telling others with different povs to stfu
Why not just wait a bit?
Why are you questioning the lemmings?
Lemmings didn't actually do that mass suicide thing on their own. Walt Disney bought a shit ton of them and forced them to do that. Look it up, it's really sad.
Hahahaha have you been to India?? Those who pushes the hardest is first and fuck the rest!
Stfu the video isn't even from india
Rude
Username checks out

Person 1: “What’s the weight limit on this bridge?” Person 2: *Blinks* “…weight limit?”
Anyone got the uncensored version. I wanna see the nipples on that mountain.
Mountain nips 🔥
Twin peaks
Thankfully this wasn’t on r/crazyfuckingvideos
Not today anyway.......
Soon
Ill be the last motha fucka to cross that bridge
I’d rather be the first after it’s had that much weight on in. But you do you.
Temple of Doom bridge, actually?
How can a group of people stand there and look at this and think it's safe enough to go out on with thousands of other people?
Obviously, it was safe, since they're not in the news.
It's like they've not got any concept of staying to the left/right. I can see people fighting to get through the people walking out on to the bridge which is slowing everything down.
It’s amazing that some societies haven’t stumbled upon this simple concept yet
Ants
They’d go much quicker if they form lines on each side
It's Nepal, not India Comments below: 'India' And I'm downvoted if I call out the ignorance in this comment section.
Seems stupid
It would seem stupid in this day ig :v a lot of them live like that so i dont think they see the issue lol
That bridge is build different
Damn, how can every person in one video possibly have bigger balls than me?
Imagine being stuck in the middle wanting to get off..
people are incredibly dumb......
do people have a complete disregard for their own life?
I am such a sick mf.. what's wrong with me..I was actually waiting for it to fall.
How could that bridge support that many people?
So much stupidity concentrated in one place.
Indiana Jones Bridge
Man how many times are people gonna upvote the exact same comment over and over and over again
India
No it's in Nepal. You can literally hear the person behind the camera saying isn't the people gets scared or smh in Nepali language. P.S in from that near by area and I have been there once. It's Hella packed all the time
Why is it so busy?

Has it ever collapsed ?
No, it hasn't
The engineers behind that bridge deserve a raise and a cold beer!
*Creaking noises* Would be terrifyinf to just hear a random crack or creak while slowly moving on that bridge, I could never.
Hold on lady we're going for a ride
How much weight would a bridge like that be able to hold?
Humanity has no upper limits for ignorance.
These muthafuckas just want to die😂
And i thought paracord was strong af.
The Indiana jones bridge
But... Why? Why would you risk your life?
I think I’ll wait.
Wow how can that many people have not a fuckin clue
Love to see Darwinism in effect.
This is straight out of my nightmares.
Is it bad that I want it to fall
*Places I'd never want to go to in this life time*
some final destination kinda shit
I would barely want to cross this bridge *alone*
It’s OK god will protect us!
OmG too many! Do they not get the concept of weight limits. New phobia unlocked.
i would be staying far away. how are people so eagerly pushing their way onto the bridge?
G-zus H.
How often do those snap?
Why would anyone not on the bridge get on the bridge after seeing this…
These people literally have no brains, do they?
There is no way I would step on that bridge
If that bridge breaks I won't be able to reach ATT tech support for 2 weeks
Dang I really wanted to see it break

They're Nepali. Learn the difference.
Pure stupidity
They queueing cos there’s a woman on the other side?
Yeah your mom.
Jokes on them, she old
Maybe that's why they're queuing. She's like fine wine.
Where is the Ymir version these people. She need to stop them from reproduction for 20 years or something
Ignorance is bliss. One day that shit will give up and they’ll all wonder what happened lol. Nooooo thanks.
Was anyone else thinking, please let it fall please let it fall?.?
Crossposted in /r/TIHI
Um that’s gonna be a no for me
Isn’t that the same bridge that collapsed?
So mad it didn't break
*Indiana Jones and the bridge full of morons*
r/SweatyPalms and its post full of ignorant bellends.

“Is it granite”
Nope
If y’all formed single file lines this shit would go a lot smoother.

Humans do shit like this for an actual incident to happen just for everyone to eventually post online "pray for *insert victims here*"
Wow. That’s not good. :-/
If that shit collapsed no one was saving another, they would be ripping eachother down
Will someone do the math of about how much weight is on this single bridge? This is baffling me.
Lemmings.
When you have too much faith=
Oh hell no…
Oh hell to to no
Maybe not today, but someday
Natural selection
Ended too soon
There is clearly a problem of conception here
They teach physics in that hood?
That one bridge in the maths question
The bridge collapsed in a few hours killing hundreds
nope.
Get the number for the architect of this bridge cause DAMN

Absolutely not.
City: And, what’s the weight limit on this bridge? Engineer: no
They are really pushing their luck
All these people here and no one can put together enough people to build another bridge.
All these people here and no one can put together enough people to build another bridge.
I saw no butterfly
No chance I would go on that with all those people
