it’s mostly personal preference, i just use webman because it puts the games on the XMB and also because multiman refuses to launch games from my internal hard drive for whatever reason
my main issue with webman is that copying files over from usb is a complete nightmare since it never shows how long it’s gonna take or anything unless you fiddle around with it, and sometimes it straight up doesn’t wanna copy stuff
i might just be doing it wrong though :P
I personally use webMAN to launch games only since it’s directly from the XMB screen. And multiMAN for anything else like copying games from discs.

I think webman is the most modern one but I've just been using whatever works lol

Ftp is de way
neither, i prefer CFW2OFW pkg games
Personally I prefer webman over multiman. As a matter of fact I don’t use either. My go to application is irisman
Webman is most useful on hfw, on cfw you can use whatever you want.
I used Multiman to install the games, but I use Webman so I can see all my games on the XMB.
multiMAN to install, webMAN for anything else.
Multiman if you dont have any file manager (PC/Mobile FTP) Webman if you dont need to file manager
MM chain crashes for me, so I avoid it
Webman to dump and manage games via ftp:// Multiman to dump and install games via Blu-ray
