The meaning of this one may be a little more on the nose, but I really like Pizza Delivery and how it teaches about how far kindness can take you. Was SpongeBob annoying to Squidward and creating extra chaos and problems in the episode? Absolutely. But Squidward knew that it wasn’t right for that mean customer to talk to him that way, and he stepped in and stood up for him. I think it translates well to real life and how you should always do your best to be kind to others, even if you may not vibe with them or understand them completely
I feel like the episode Just One Bite is about addiction. SpongeBob basically annoys Squidward into trying something he's never done before (eat a Krabby patty). Squidward loves it so much he goes on an eating spree to the point where he blows up. Clearly Squidward had no self control. And SpongeBob freaked out when he realized that.
A lot of SpongeBob is very Christian. The very first episode literally ends with SpongeBob floating down from the sky having achieved an impossible task to save Mr. Krabs and Squidward.
The episode where they stole a balloon, reminds me of just good morals and conscience. We can all relate in some way. We take it upon ourselves to take something small and insignificant from someone or something, thinking where's the harm? But guilt can eat us alive for that. And then we confess that we stole!! Then I think deeper, if it were not free balloon day, what would their punishment be? Maybe 10 more minutes in Jail. Because they were honest. Lol it's about certain things, being slaps on the wrist and at the same time not taking advantage of what can easily he stolen without it being missed.
OP, I'd love to hear some more of your takes. Do you have anymore?
Squid on Strike made no sense to me as a kid but I like it now as an adult because it cynically shows how for a lot of people fighting against/going on strike against the boss doesn't really do anything and a lot of us are destined to die working meaningless jobs.
I thought the episode with the baby clam that SpongeBob and Patrick raised together seemed like commentary on parenting... and gay marriage.
Sure!!
Disclaimer: these are just assumptions me and my husband have made after watching SpongeBob episodes over and over again.
Pickles:
We thought this episode was about pathological liars and how far your lies can take you. Like how bubble bass ultimately believed that the patty had no pickles even though he was hiding them under his tongue. He made a reputation out of being a pathological liar.
Hall monitor:
We think this episode is about law enforcement using and abusing their power, ultimately inconveniencing or harming civilians.
Squirrel jokes:
We think this episode is about racial stereotypical jokes becoming so “normal.” Sandy was the only “immigrant” in bikini bottom since the rest of the characters were all aquatic. So SpongeBob making jokes on Sandy, and the community jumping on it so fast and running with it reminded me a lot about racial stereotypical jokes in reality.
Musclebob Buffpants:
This episode is about steroids and how they make you “stronger” but not really. Without them, athletes aren’t as strong as they are with them, just like SpongeBob with the anchor arms.
These are just a few but we have so much more lol.
I almost talked about Squirrel Jokes being about racial jokes in my own post, but I was too lazy to describe it in detail. I appreciate your input and totally agree with it, actually.
Your other takes are interesting too, I can see that about Hall Monitor and Pickles. I've thought the same about Musclebob Buffpants but never really liked that episode too much. It also has the message about lying and pretending to be someone you're not, then getting caught for it.
Mine is Best Frenemies and I think that watch it gives off a good meaning for example you can’t worry always someone else I was like that in school with a girl for example Plankton was on his own with some of those ideas so sometimes you have to just let others do and let them deal with the consequences of their actions for their dumb ideas also smile and be nice and it just makes sense anytime not just in retail situation.
Also adding to that Best Frenemies the best easiest ideas are ones that can actually hurt you example someone not fully waiting for traffic light what can happen accident everyone of those greedy plans Plankton had were a consequence for being greedy with his chance to get a kelpshake.

i always thought this too! he even has a line that goes “i’ll have one, just one! then i’m off the stuff for good!”
That episode had a interesting message
Yesss!! We thought the same thing about that episode!
A lot of SpongeBob is very Christian. The very first episode literally ends with SpongeBob floating down from the sky having achieved an impossible task to save Mr. Krabs and Squidward.
are you telling me spongebob is our lord and savior Jesus christ?
Never! That's completely idiotic. Everyone knows Superman is Jesus.
That's quit Possible that he is
SpongeBob is my religion.
DoodleBob is about SpongeBob and his impact on the microcosm that is “Bikini Bottom”.
Squidward in Clarinet Land

People think Karate Choppers is about sex, but I think that's stupid.
Hahahahah honestly I can see it
